The more increasing rate of population , then encouraged a government program to tackle the high rate of population growth, which formed the family planning program. According to data from the WHO (World Health Organization, more than 75% of those taking tool Hormonal Contraception and 25% are taking non-hormonal, IUD obtained 7.75% , condoms 6.09%, 9.23% implant, MOW 1.52%, 0.25% MOP. An example of a non-hormonal contraceptive is tubal ligation. Research aimed to study the association grandemultipara mother knowledge about family planning methods by useing of tubal ligation. Analytical research method with cross sectional approach. With a total population of 50 respondents and respondents with a sample of 33 people acidental sampling sampling techniques and using univariate and bivariate analysis results obtained Chi-Square grandemultipara maternal knowledge by useing of tubal ligation was p=0.139 (p = ≥0,005). The results showed that the respondents are grandemultipara use for tubal ligation (42.4%) while the use of tubal ligation on the grandemultipara not as much (52.6%). It can be concluded that showed no significant association between maternal knowledge about family planning methods with the use of tubal ligation. Transform and health professionals are encouraged to further improve services in the use of family planning methods penkes tubal ligation and tubal ligation surgery care to patients.
