Nurse who have the skill communication will beable to provide professional satisfaction inservices nursing and enhancing the image of the nursing professionas well as the image of the hospital itself. Based on a survey that was conducted in the Islamic Hospital Ibnu Sina was found that of the 10 consumers, 6 of them are not satisfied with the nurse verbal communication. It is an expression of dissatisfaction of patients. This research is to know relation of nursing verbal communication on caring with patient satisfaction in space internist in Islamic Hospital Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi on the 2014. Device on this research to used descriptive analitic with approach cross sectional study. Population of this research is all patient inspace internist in Islamic hospital Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi with technique taken the sample is total sampling which amount of 38 sample. This instrument research consist of quetioner part I for measure verbal communication and part II for measure patient satisfaction.Result of analysis showed more than half (57,9%) responden say verbal communication of nurse not well and more than half (68,3%) responden say unsatisfication with service who given. Result of bivariate analysis with Chy-square there are correlation between nursing verbal communication on caring with patient satisfaction(p=0,027).The conclution of this research is there are correlation between nursing verba lcommunication on caring with patient satisfaction islamic hospital Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi on the 2014.
