FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN UNMET NEED KB PADA PASANGAN USIA SUBUR (PUS)

One of the causes of the increase in the number of population in Indonesia is still high incidence of unmet need. Bukittinggi city have a number of unmet need is high at 14.6% and national standards for unmet need only 5.0%. This study aims to determine the factors which is related with the incidence of unmet need. Design of this research is analytic survey. The data analysis is the analysis of univariate and bivariate. The study population wis all spouses of fertile age (EFA), which amounted to 2231 people and a sample of 96 people. The sampling technique used is Cluster Sampling, measured variables such as age, knowledge, support her husband, and information from health workers, and the methods of analysis used is a computerized program. The result showed that there is no significant relationship between age and unmet need, the value of p = 0.500. There is a significant relationship between the knowledge of the unmet need, the value of p = 0.001. There is a significant relationship between husband support on the incidence of unmet need, the value of p = 0.001. There is a significant relationship between information from health workers with unmet need, the value of p = 0.00. For that respondents expected more wisely and known the side effects if not using family planning and health personnel further improve family planning services in order to reduce the rate of unmet need family planning
