Hypertension disease is one of degenerative disease that allow cardiovascular system, the characteristic is increasing the blood pressure systolic or diastolic or both (WHO, 1999). Till this time, hypertension patient that get the medicine yet therefore their get the medicine, their blood pressure still in the low target that can make morbidity dan mortality. From research study and the health education expert, knowledge of community is low and their practice, too. After done this research about, “The crash of given the health education og knoeledge, attitude, and action in prevent the hypertension disease in region of Puskesmas Lintau Buo III in 2011, this research be done in October – March 2011. This research is pre-eksperiment, where 1300 of hypertension patient in year 2007 at Puskesmas Lintau Buo III, be taken 92 of hypertension patient to know crash of given the health education of knowledge, attitude, and action in prevention of the hypertension disease. From research get knowledge before be given the health education is 55% and after be given the health education is 69%, the attitude before be given the health education is 43% and after be given the health education is 77% and the act before be given the health education is 46% and after be given the health education is 70%. (Have significancy with Wilcoxon-Test on p value). The conclusion, have change of knowledge, attitude, and action of hypertension patient disease. It is important more yhe health education to prevent the hypertension disease to press the increasing of hypertension in Puskesmas Lintau Buo III.
