Leadership broadly covers the process affects in determining organizational goals , motivating followers to achieve the goal of behavior , affect to repair or cultural group ( Rival , 2009: 2 ) . From some research leadership greatly affect nursing care documentation. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the leadership style of head room with the implementation of nursing care pendokumentasiaan in Islam Ibn Sina Hospital Payakumbuh . This study using cross sectional method , with sampling to use the leadership style of the total sampling the number of respondents 49 respondents to the data pegumpulan author using a questionnaire . As for the sample of nursing care documentation using simple random sampling using observation sheet that is filled by the authors as much as 30 documentation . After data collection is done , then analyzed the data of the examination of the data , coding , processing , tabulation of data , then grouped into distribution table. From the research that has been done showed that the relationship Leadership Style Head room with documentation of Nursing were researched in Space Inpatient Hospital Islam Ibn Sina Payakumbuh , it can be concluded as follows : Leadership Style Head room Inpatient Hospital Islam Ibn Sina the dominant use Instruction Leadership Style 32 respondents ( 65.3 % ) of the 49 respondents. Nursing documentation in patient wards Ibn Sina Hospital Payakumbuh done 21 documentation ( 70 % ) and did not take place 9 documentation ( 30 % ) of the 30 nursing care documentation . There is a relationship between Leadership Style with Nursing Documentation , test results obtained statistical value of p = 0.000 ( p < 0.05 ) , where p ≤ α ( 0.05 ) then called significant statistically. Based on the authors research on the relationship with the leadership style of nursing care documentation implementation , the authors suggest to subsequent researchers to make the results of this study as a baseline for its research berikutnyadan can develop into research that is correlative
