Asthma is a disorder of intermittent obstructive airway disease, in which the trachea and bronchi reversibly responds to particular stimuli and hyperactivity may affect quality of life, asthma can cause interference with daily activities and emotional disorders (anxiety and depression). This research aims to look at Corelation Of Degree Of Asthma With Quality Of Life Were Assessed by Asthma Quality Of Life Questionnaire in Lung Polyclinic at RSUD Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi. This study was conducted using a study correlation design (Correlation Study) with cross sectional approach. This research was conducted at RSUD. Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi from June to July 2014, data were collected from 38 patients who visited the RSUD. Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi clinic lung, using RSUD.Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi documentation and the Asthma Quality of Life Questionnaire (AQLQ). Data were analyzed using Chi-Square test. Degrees intermittent asthmatics have a good quality of life, patients with mild persistent asthma have a good quality of life, patients with persistent asthma were more likely to have quality of life, and severe persistent asthma have a poor quality of life. There is a significant correlation (p = 0.001) between the degree of asthma with quality of life as assessed by AQLQ This Research conclusion is that the degree of asthma affects quality of life of people with asthma are treated at RSUD.
