Pandemic Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome - Coronavirus-2 (SARS -CoV-2) or Coronavirus Disease or Covid-19 is a problem with cases increasing every day which can be caused by a lack of knowledge and awareness, so that efforts and behavior are needed to prevent ourself from infected and prevent complications. The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with the behavior to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus in diabetes mellitus patients. This type of research is a descriptive correlation with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used in this study was Simple Random Sampling. The study was conducted from September 2020 - January 2021 at the Guguak Panjang Health Center with 146 samples. This study used a questionnaire as a data collection tool and the data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate methods. The results of the analysis of obtaining knowledge and attitudes with Covid-19 prevention behavior are good (p = 0.000) which means that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and attitudes with Covid-19 prevention behavior in diabetes mellitus patients so that education related to preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus is the first step. so that there is no surge in Covid-19 sufferers with diabetes mellitus.
